Isle of Ashes (again)
  • 1 of 5: You have two main purposes in returning here now: getting the artifact from the Verhoffin Ruins' black chest and getting Verhoffin's silver diary if you didn't daringly nab it back when you were first here.
  • 2 of 5: If you need to get the diary, read the following question's hints to find out how.
  • 3 of 5: If you got it before, then the first thing you're going to have to deal with upon entering the ruins are the still-mad monsters that saw you as you made your run for the exit with the diary.
  • 4 of 5: Those creatures shouldn't be much problem for your tough scholars, but the three Frights in the room with the black chest might be. If you can't fight them all at once, try sneaking up to the black chest in turn-based mode, grabbing the artifact, and then running for the exit in real-time mode.
  • 5 of 5: As soon as you get done, take the boat back to Sturmford.
