How can I get Mr. Roger's piece of the map?

  • 1 of 22: Mister Rogers used to live on the little island off Phatt Island.  Perhaps you should first try going over to that island first.
  • 2 of 22: Now you need to go up to the cottage.  Try talking to the man who lives there.
  • 3 of 22: Before you can find the map, you'll need to be able to outdrink him in a drinking contest.
  • 4 of 22: Once you've done that, you should be free to look around the house to see if you can find the map.
  • 5 of 22: The statue outside of the house is the key.
  • 6 of 22: In particular, you should read the plaque.
  • 7 of 22: Look for an object that will make far away things look near.
  • 8 of 22: A telescope will work.  There's one up in the big tree on Booty Island.
  • 9 of 22: Put the telescope on the statue and see what happens.
  • 10 of 22: That beam of light is the answer to your problem.
  • 11 of 22: First of all, you want to make sure that it gets into the house.
  • 12 of 22: Open up the shutter.
  • 13 of 22: Then go into the house and look at where the beam of light is pointing.
  • 14 of 22: It's pointing at the mirror frame.
  • 15 of 22: Maybe you need to put a mirror there.
  • 16 of 22: You can find a mirror in the shop on Booty Island.
  • 17 of 22: Put the mirror in the frame and see what happens next.
  • 18 of 22: The beam of light points to one brick on the wall.
  • 19 of 22: Try pushing the brick, and you'll be taken down to a room below, where you can find the map.
  • 20 of 22: I remember that when I first played the game, the butt slide knocked me out to the beach rather than landing me in the room.  I couldn't repeat that when I played the game to write this file, but read on to find out what I did.
  • 21 of 22: If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.
  • 22 of 22: Just go back up to the house and push the brick again.  If that doesn't work, you might want to try pulling it instead.
