Commands for Affecting Others
- To do something to another person or item with the following commands, you must first select them so their internal codename is on the console window's title bar.
* disable - use on anyone or anything to make it disappear
* enable - use to get back the last thing you disabled (if it's still selected on the console title bar)
* lock # - use on a door or container to lock it at lock level #
* unlock - use on a locked door or container to unlock it
* sethealth # - use on an NPC or monster to set its health to # (use 0 for an instant kill)
* resurrect - use on dead NPCs and monsters to bring them back to life
* setdisposition # - use on a friendly NPC to set his disposition toward you to #
* addtopic "$" - use on a friendly NPC to add a dialogue topic ($ must be its exact text name -- check the TES Construction Set's character dialogue section)
NOTE: The commands in the Editing Your Character section can also be used on creatures and NPCs, though you'd rarely want to increase their stats or give them cool new constant effects (with the possible exception of people you're escorting somewhere on quests).
To stop any hostile person or creature from attacking you, select him in the console window and then type:
setfight 30
stopcombat
