The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints
Ahemmusa Nerevarine
1 of 12: The Ahemmusa Ashlander Camp is at location 1 on the Ald Daedroth map.
2 of 12: If you peek inside the ashkhan's yurt, you'll see that there's nobody home.
3 of 12: That's because this tribe has no ashkhan at present, and the local wise woman is their current leader.
4 of 12: Before you enter her yurt, though, you need to talk to Kausi, Dutadalk, or Yenammu in yurts near the ashkhan's about "Nerevarine."
5 of 12: Then go talk to Mirpal in the wise woman's yurt about "Nerevarine" and say you want the Ahemmusa to name you as their Nerevarine.
6 of 12: Ask her about "safe place," and she'll say that she needs you to go to the Ald Daedroth Shrine and make it safe for her tribe to take refuge in.
7 of 12: She has valid concerns, what with the Temple and Daedra-worshipping factions being at open war in and around the shrine, but it's not too hard to get them to agree to let the Ahemmusa move in peaceably.
8 of 12: Once that's done, return to the Ahemmusa camp and have Mirpal follow you to the shrine.
9 of 12: She's no warrior, but she is magical enough to walk on water, so it's not too bad a trip.
10 of 12: Make your way to the west side of the island with the shrine on it so you and Mirpal can walk up to the shrine entrance without doing any jumping or levitating.
11 of 12: Once inside, go through the door to the Inner Shrine and approach the giant statue.
12 of 12: Mirpal will initiate conversation, so choose "name you Nerevarine" to finish this quest and get the Madstone of the Ahemmusa, which can be used to cast the Sound spell.
