How do I rescue Frelene Acques?

  • 1 of 5: Acques is being held in a cell in the Hlaalu compound in Vivec. You can get to the cell area through a door in the Hlaalu Treasury.
  • 2 of 5: There are keys to the cells on both tables in the area, but there's a guard standing next to one of them, so you may want to steal the other one.
  • 3 of 5: Stand next to the table so that a post is between you and the guard, then nab the key.
  • 4 of 5: Use it to open Acques' cell, then lead her out. (You'll probably have to fight or evade the guard on the way out unless you taunt him into fighting you before freeing Acques.) She'll be okay once you make it out of the treasury area.
  • 5 of 5: Another alternative is to talk to Acques through the cell door and give her the key. Then you can just leave and not worry about it anymore.
