The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints
Annotated Map Key
1 = A battlemage named Snowy Granius attacks you at the east end of this large bridge. 2 = Arkngthand. The crank you need to use to open the entrance is north of the ruins. An early main quest brings you here. 3 = Missamsi (Sixth House base). 4 = Saren Ancestral Tomb. 5 = Nissintu (bandit cave). 6 = Marandus (bandit stronghold). 7 = Ashunartes Shrine entrances. You'll come here for a Fighters Guild quest. 8 = Punabi (bandit cave). A Mages Guild quest sends you here. 9 = Sulipund. A Mages Guild quest has you come here. 10 = Fields of Kummu Shrine. A Temple quest requires you to activate this shrine.
13 = Edras Oril. (See location 12.) 14 = Alof's Farmhouse. You'll need to talk to Alof during the course of a Fighters Guild quest. 15 = Several muckspunge plants. 16 = Sandas Ancestral Tomb. 17 = Sterdecan's Farmhouse. You'll need to lead a slave to safety here on a Hlaalu quest. (Also, see location 18.) 18 = Several slaves, including Tul.
20 = Manat Varnan-Adda's Farmhouse. A Hlaalu quest sends you both here and to location 24. 21 = Arvel Plantation. You're sent here by the Imperial Cult. 22 = Dren Plantation. You'll come here on quests from the Thieves Guild, the Morag Tong, and House Hlaalu. 23 = Desolate Shipwreck. 24 = Llovyn Andus and Corky the Guar. A Hlaalu quest sends you both here and to location 20. 25 = Punammu (bandit cave). 26 = Panat (bandit cave). 27 = Mannammu (bandit cave). You'll come here on a Fighter's Guild quest. 28 = Balur's Farmhouse. (Same as location 1 on the Vivec map.) 29 = Gro-Bagrat Plantation. An Imperial Cult quest sends you here. 30 = Teris Raledran and Rollie the Guar.
36 = Saturan (bandit cave). A Fighters Guild quest will bring you here. 37 = Bal Ur Shrine entrances. You'll come here on a Temple quest and on the quest to cure vampirism. 38 = Vandus Ancestral Tomb. 39 = Aran Ancestral Tomb.
