The Death of Ralen Hlaalo
  • 1 of 9: Dorvayn is upset about Hlaalo's death, so she quests you to do justice.
  • 2 of 9: This may be a very short quest indeed if you've already done the local misc. quest entitled "Larrius Varro Tells a Little Story." Hlaalo's killer is one of the five guys you kill for that quest, so if you've already killed him, you'll get a dialogue option that will finish things up now.
  • 3 of 9: If not, you need to ask around about Hlaalo.
  • 4 of 9: Some people think that Nine-Toes did it. Go talk to him in his house on the east side of the city.
  • 5 of 9: He'll protest innocence and suggests you search Hlaalo Manor to see if there are any servants remaining that you can talk to.
  • 6 of 9: As it turns out, there is one named Uryne Nirith.
  • 7 of 9: Nirith describes the killer to you, and you have a new dialogue option ("murderer's description") that you can use in conversation with others.
  • 8 of 9: You'll eventually learn that the killer is Thanelen Velas, who's hanging about in the Council Club.
  • 9 of 9: You can kill him individually and report success back to Dorvayn, or you can wait and get the above-mentioned misc. quest and do both at once.
