The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Hints
How can I get the Robe of St. Roris that I hear is so great?
of 8: The Robe of St. Roris, which constantly regenerates hit points and fatigue when worn, is in the Assemanu cave (location 4 on the Vivec map). The robe's unique properties are due to a genuine game glitch, so if you've applied any patches to your installation of Morrowind, it may not work like you want it to (unless you use this information on unpatching the robe).
of 8: Before going for it, visit the Grace of Daring shrine with a potion of Rising Force to get a good half-day Levitation spell put on you. That makes getting to the cave and getting around in it much easier.
of 8: Also, be sure to set a Mark somewhere or take scrolls of Divine Intervention and/or Almsivi Intervention with you. You may need them to get out.
of 8: Once you're inside Assemanu, find the two dead Ordinators and get the key off the one that's up the winding stone pathway.
of 8: It'll open the door to the Shrine, so go there and find and kill all the Dreamers.
of 8: Get the key that one of them has and find the huge Dagoth cave.
of 8: You don't need to fight the Dagoth. Just levitate up to where the treasure chest is on a stone walkway high above the floor and open it to find the robe.
of 8: Put that beauty on (it fits nicely over whatever armor you already have readied), then teleport out via Recall, Divine Intervention, or whatever.
