Is there a way to finish the Redoran Hortator quest if I killed Venim earlier?

  • 1 of 7: You can use various PC Cheat Code commands to help you accomplish this.
  • 2 of 7: First, you need to set a certain global variable to zero. Do this by bringing down the console with ~ and typing:

    set redoranmurdered to 0
  • 3 of 7: Now you can talk Athyn Sarethi and the other councilors into supporting you as described in the hints.
  • 4 of 7: When it's all done but the duel with Venim, go to the Arena Pit in Vivec and type the following command on the console:

    placeatpc "bolvyn venim" 1,100,0
  • 5 of 7: That will put a copy of Venim right in front of you.
  • 6 of 7: Talk to him and choose the topic "Redoran Hortator" to get the challenge to a duel.
  • 7 of 7: Then attack and kill him to finish the duel and get the appropriate journal entry.
