How can I get the fisherman's rod?

  • 1 of 8: Pierre sits with it all the time -- unless he runs out of bait.
  • 2 of 8: Did he tell you about the Captain's cat?
  • 3 of 8: After you have talked with the Captain at length, talk to Pierre again.
  • 4 of 8: This time be sure to find out about the cat.
  • 5 of 8: When the cat eats his bait, Pierre will go to get more, leaving you alone with his gear.
  • 6 of 8: The cat is cautious and doesn't usually go too close to people, though. You'll need to throw him in that direction.
  • 7 of 8: Approach Pierre's spot and let the cat go.
  • 8 of 8: You can borrow the rod and bait bucket when Pierre leaves.
