Agatha Christie: Murder on the Orient Express Hints
I'm stuck!
of 11: This game doesn't have nearly as many bottlenecks in the action as its predecessor, and in fact is fairly open in construction (that is, you can wander around doing different things at different times). However, there are still a couple of places where it's possible to get hopelessly stuck -- where you have done everything and still the next section doesn't seem to want to happen. When that happens, it often means there is one tiny little thing you haven't done and MUST do before you can move on. If this happens to you, here are some things to try:
of 11: -- Look at every item in your inventory on both sides (that is, click on the magnifying glass too look at it and on the eyeball to turn it over).
of 11: -- Check the documents in inventory and do anything that doesn't have a line through it showing that it's done.
of 11: -- Visit every room of the two passenger cars. In each room, look at the luggage, in the cupboard, and in the bathroom cupboard.
of 11: -- Go back and talk to everyone there is to talk to, including the employees.
of 11: -- If you have the equipment, check every inventory item that is noted as having a smudge for fingerprints.
of 11: -- Once you can get to the footprint outside Ratchett's window, make a mold of it and compare it to every pair of men's shoes, even if you already know whose shoe it is.
of 11: -- Go back and talk to Poirot about your findings.
of 11: If you have done all these things and you still can't move on, go to the checklist at the end of each section. If *this* doesn't work, you might want to consider restoring a saved game and doing the section over again.
