Myst III: Exile Hints
How can I enter the lava-filled room?
1 of 4: You won't be able to enter the room as long as there's lava in there, of course.
2 of 4: Go back up the ladder and find some controls there.
3 of 4: There's a lever on the right side of a circle.
4 of 4: Click on the lever and drag it up. Once you've moved it as far as it seems to go, let go, and the lever will rotate all the way to the left side of the circle. This will also drain all of the lava from the room, so you can open the door by clicking on the handle on the door down below.
