How should I work the controls in the lava room?

  • 1 of 8: First, you need to find a way to get into the lava-filled room itself.  It's down the ladder from the room with the large window looking into the room.
  • 2 of 8: Look to the top of the room, and you should notice a fan above you.
  • 3 of 8: You need to find the controls to start up that fan.
  • 4 of 8: Once you've started the fan, reverse the process to lower the platform and get out of the room.
  • 5 of 8: That is, drag the lever up once, across once, and down one more time when the gear is on the other side of the room.
  • 6 of 8: Getting the fan running isn't the only thing you need to do.
  • 7 of 8: The fan is part of a heating system.
  • 8 of 8: So you need to make sure there's lava in the room -- the lava provides the heat.
