Myst IV: Revelation Hints
How do I get to the village?
1 of 8: This place is like a maze! Go back to the location where you first started this age. Remember, you can use the "zip" feature to jump back there instantly.
2 of 8: From there, move forward five times -- until you reach an area that splits into four paths (three in front of you, plus the one behind you).
3 of 8: There are two stone paths, in addition to two paths that each go over a wooden bridge (one of which you crossed to get here). The path you should take is the wooden bridge leading away from the start -- the one immediately to the right of the two stone paths.
4 of 8: Move forward four times, until you reach a path that splits into two directions.
5 of 8: Take the left fork, and move forward two times.
6 of 8: Where the path forks to the left and right, take the right side.
7 of 8: Move forward four times. The first three moves are easy, since there aren't any alternate routes, but be careful on the last move, that you don't veer off to the left.
8 of 8: Now the path splits into two possibilities again. Stay to the right, and the path will take you to the village.
