Myst IV: Revelation Hints
How do I bring a gift to the Fire Spirit?
1 of 5: The Fire Spirit appears in three locations, each of which appears inside a group of tall stones that are on fire. If you have not already done so, make sure that you have found all three possible locations where the Fire Spirit may appear.
2 of 5: Make sure that you have found all three locations where the Fire Spirit offering appears. (The good news is that the offering locations do not move. They will always be in the same place, just as the fires themselves will always be in the same place.)
3 of 5: You may even wish to draw out a simple map, so that you know -- in each of the three cases -- which of the offering locations is closest to which of the three fire locations. You are going to have to be able to move from one to the other (i.e., from burning sap location to Fire Spirit location) in as few moves as possible.
4 of 5: The next few hints will walk you through where to find the three Fire Spirit guides. Each of the paths described will each walk you past the offering for the Spirit you are going to.
5 of 5: The fastest one to navigate to is the first one -- his offering is located closest to the waterways crossing. If you are having trouble navigating to the Spirit in its other two locations, then go to the other locations just long enough to make the Spirit move, until the Spirit moves to the first location described here.
