How do I set the four-light control panel to half-power?
1 of 6: First, convert each of the slider-switch settings into a portion of a math equation. For example, moving the slider to the right turns on one light, so this position would add one.
2 of 6: When all three positions have been converted, work out the solution in full on a piece of paper.
3 of 6: This panel must be set in three moves.
4 of 6: The slider starts in the central position. Start by moving it to the left. This will turn on one light, with two moves remaining.
5 of 6: Next, move the slider to the central position. This will turn on two lights. There will now be a total of three lights on, with one move remaining.
6 of 6: Move the slider to the right position. This will turn off one light. There will be two lights displayed, which will make half the power of this station available.
