Myst IV: Revelation Hints

How can I travel to the floating palace?

  • 1 of 14: Sirrus had a way to get there -- and he didn't walk.
  • 2 of 14: Sirrus built an airship.  If only you could find it, perhaps you could use it as well.
  • 3 of 14: When you started this world, the airship didn't have any power.
  • 4 of 14: Perhaps if the airship had power, it would reveal itself to you.
  • 5 of 14: There are a couple of control panels in Spire that are needed to restore the airship's power.
  • 6 of 14: There is no one here to tell us how much power the airship needs.
  • 7 of 14: The airship needs power from both control panels...
  • 8 of 14: ...but it doesn't need full power from both of them.
  • 9 of 14: Using the control panel with seven lights, set it to full power.
  • 10 of 14: When you do this, you should see a brief video of the airship floating into view, and a ladder extending out to the ship.
  • 11 of 14: Even though it is now possible to enter the ship, it is not ready to go yet.  You will also need to set the other control panel correctly.
  • 12 of 14: The control panel with four lights will need to have only two lights on.
  • 13 of 14: Once you have both panels correctly set, go back to the ship (it's behind the seven-light panel), and enter it using the ladder that begins behind the control panel (you'll need to walk around the panel to the right to access it).
  • 14 of 14: The ship only has one control.  Push the lever to automatically fly to the floating structure.
