Myst IV: Revelation Hints
How do I enter a setting into the control panel?
1 of 4: Choose one set of numbers -- from any one of the crystals or rock -- and enter the set of numbers for that element onto the cables at the center of the control panel -- from left to right (left number in the set of three numbers should be entered into the left cable, etc.).
2 of 4: The sliders start out at the bottom of the cables. When they are at the bottom of the cable, the sliders are "off", or at a setting of "zero".
3 of 4: Each slider can be moved up, one unit at a time, to the top of each cable, for a maximum setting of 12.
4 of 4: For each notch -- or unit -- that the sliders move up, one of the lights around the control panel will turn off. By watching how many lights turn off (or on, if the movement down), you will be able to count out the number of units to set on each slider.
