Myst IV: Revelation Hints

Camoudile and Cerpatee

  • 1 of 11: According to Achenar's journal, both the Camoudile and the Cerpatee are meat-eaters.
  • 2 of 11: Go ahead and check the food and print chart to find the meat.
  • 3 of 11: There is only one type of meat-eater print shown on the chart.
  • 4 of 11: The print is in the top-right corner of the chart.
  • 5 of 11: There are a couple of clues to help you determine which of these two animals has this print.
  • 6 of 11: Refer back to the pyramid chart of prints.
  • 7 of 11: You'll find that the pyramid chart shows one type of print that is not on the food and print chart.
  • 8 of 11: There are two ways to guess which print belongs to the Camoudile.  First of all, the Camoudile is much smaller than the Cerpatee.
  • 9 of 11: Secondly, there is a diagram of the Cerpatee in Achenar's journal.  This diagram shows the Cerpatee's paw spread open.
  • 10 of 11: According to the diagram, the Cerpatee's paw has four fingers (and maybe a thumb).
  • 11 of 11: Therefore, the Cerpatee must have the large four-fingered print shown on the pyramid; and the Camoudile must have the two-clawed print shown at the top-right of the food chart.
