The Mystery of the Mummy Hints
I've tried and tried, but cannot get past this puzzle! Help!
1 of 4: Be sure to save your game just prior to working on the puzzle. This will give you additional chances to restart the puzzle after you have had more time to learn how to work with the deductions necessary to solve the puzzle.
2 of 4: However, if you simply cannot solve the puzzle, and are hampered by the inability to proceed beyond this point (without solving the puzzle), there is an undocumented "by-pass" to the puzzle. Use it ONLY as a last resort, because the solution to this puzzle is not as difficult as it looks, and there is a certain satisfaction in solving a 900-piece puzzle in a timed sequence! :>)
3 of 4: That's all the warnings you're going get. To cause the puzzle to be solved automatically, and proceed with the game, use the following steps.
4 of 4: Click on the upper, right-hand corner of the screen (in the gray background outside of the puzzle itself). Click repeatedly. Each time you click there, more and more pieces of the puzzle will be added for you. You can stop at any point, and finish the puzzle yourself, or continue clicking until the entire puzzle is filled in. You will need to place the last tile yourself, though, for the game to continue.
