Nancy Drew 1: Secrets Can Kill! (Remastered) Hints
Where is Auntie's safe, and how do I open it?
of 10: Where do people normally hide safes in mysteries?
of 10: Well, it's not behind a painting, so don't bother with them. It is behind something that hangs on the wall, though.
of 10: To the left of the credenza in the entry, there's a hallway with a tapestry hanging on the wall. Click on it to pull it aside.
of 10: Now all you need to do is figure out the combination. Do these letters look familiar? If not, go back to the credenza and open the right-hand drawer.
of 10: These are Greek letters that are also the name of Aunt Eloise's sorority from college: Sigma Phi Kappa Delta. The buttons on the safe also had Greek letters.
of 10: Let's take a wild guess and assume Aunt Eloise used her sorority letters as her safe combination.
of 10: So either memorize the letter shapes, or draw them, or go take a course in Greek so you know how to read Greek. In this case, sigma looks like a b leaning to the right, phi is an O with a vertical line through it, kappa is a K, and delta is a d with a flip in its tail.
of 10: Press the buttons on the safe in that order to open it. (If you get it wrong three times in a row, Aunt Eloise's burglar trap kicks in, and it's time for Second Chance.)
of 10: The library key is hanging on the inside of the door panel on the right. But wait, what's that interesting box? Ooo, we gotta get in there.
of 10: No, we really do have to get into it; that's where Auntie's computer log-in and password are.
