Nancy Drew: The Haunting of Castle Malloy Hints
Dollhouse Puzzle 3
of 10: You'll get the plan for this one when you solve the gear puzzle in the helmet in the library.
of 10: This puzzle is pretty tough and will need lots of trial and error. The only obvious one is the red-haired doll, who's directly to the left of the chandelier, so that's space 1 on the bottom row. But that's not that helpful, since she doesn't appear in any other relation.
of 10: The dog is on the top row, and to the left of the cow, so that means space 1.
of 10: The cat is left of one suit of armor and right of another. The only place this is possible is the bottom row, in either space 4 or 5. The boy is directly above him.
of 10: The cow is to the cat's right, so that's bottom row, either space 5 or 6.
of 10: Our friend the pig is above a suit of armor, so he's not on the bottom row; and he's the farthest right in a row of four, so he's not on the top row. That means he has to be in the middle row, and either in space 4 or 6 -- but he's also right of the boy, so it must be space 6.
of 10: The blond girl and the sheep are on the same row as the pig and the boy, and there's not really any way to tell whether they're in spaces 1 and 2, 2 and 3, or what. Try moving the four unfixed dolls (blond, sheep, boy, and dog) back and forth in those spots and pressing Check until you hit it.
of 10: The final solution is: Top row -- dog, empty Middle row -- empty, blond girl, sheep, boy, empty, pig Bottom row -- red-haired girl, empty, empty, cat, cow, empty
of 10: Solving this puzzle gives you one more printing plate, and the most important one too.
