Is this game scary?
1 of 2: There is certainly a definite creepy factor, given the overall Edgar Allen Poe theme and the game's Halloween 2009 release. But there's never a time when anyone or anything jumps out at you or chases you, if you don't count the times when you're out of bed after hours and the RA catches you -- and even then, you have lots of warning and you never actually see her.
2 of 2: On the other hand, some of your fellow students are some of the nastiest, most mean-spirited people on the planet. I'd call that depressing rather than frightening, though.
