What should I get with my winnings?
1 of 6: The first time you look at the souvenir machine, Nancy will comment that there's a comic book in there that looks interesting. (It's about a yurei, a vengeful ghost like the one that seems to be haunting the ryokan.)
2 of 6: It's not too hard to get; it only costs 1399 balls, and you can win that much in one round if you're lucky. So play till you have at least that much and buy it. (It's the only thing in the machine that looks even faintly like a book.)
3 of 6: Later in the game, after you find the missing tile in the baths --
4 of 6: -- Rentaro will ask you to buy a collar for Miwako -- er, for her robotic cat Suki, that is. You can also get that here for a mere 2100 balls. When you get it, take it back to Rentaro --
5 of 6: -- who immediately goes off to give it to Miwako. Take advantage of his absence to search his shed.
