Opening the Picture Lock
1 of 8: If you click on a picture, the rock it's on moves, so it's pretty clear that the door will open if we can push them in the right order. Read to the end of this hint to discover that order.
2 of 8: As Nancy says, the images on the wall are related to the pictures on the legend pages. Look at the pages in your inventory and match them up.
3 of 8: Five of the pictures on the rocks match the pictures on the legend pages: the well, the necklace, the shield, the boulder, and the trapdoor to the pit. So those are the rocks we need to push -- but we still don't know the order.
4 of 8: The clue to this is on the legend pages themselves -- not the letters, but the page numbers. As for the one that doesn't have a page number, there's a clue to that in one of the cipher messages.
5 of 8: The second cipher said, "The Freiherr's daughter is step one." It seemed like gibberish when we decoded it, but it makes better sense now, doesn't it?
