How do I use the PrintSync program?
1 of 6: Prints have to be first loaded into the computer using the Fingerprint Scanner (the little machine to the left of the computer). Pick up a print in your inventory, and then click it on the slot in the front of the machine to load it in.
2 of 6: After you've loaded in the first print (the one you got from the note in the baggie she gave to Ned) --
3 of 6: -- click on "Load Sample," then "Search." The search comes up negative, telling you that this person has never been arrested. You'll have to find some samples for the machine to compare it with.
4 of 6: As you collect other prints, load them into the scanner, then click on "Search" to compare those prints to the partial.
5 of 6: To compare prints, click on the partial print to pick up a copy of it in red. You can then hover it over the other prints to see if it matches any of them. If you think it does, click on that print, and the computer will tell if you have a match or not.
6 of 6: You'll need to have the red partial print placed so the lines at least partly line up, but you don't have to have it exactly honed in line for line.
