Nancy Drew 26: Tomb of the Lost Queen Hints
How do I get into Jamila's bag?
of 14: Jamila is one crazy chick -- or is she? Lily says she can't believe anyone can be as crazy as all that, and that's true. Maybe she's just acting crazy to throw us off.
of 14: We need to get a look inside her bag; maybe there are some clues in there. First we need to find a way to get her out of the way.
of 14: Now that Jamila is away, look at her purse. It's locked, curse it, and it's a weird lock too. Read to the end of this hint for complete directions on how to open the lock.
of 14: Wait a sec, haven't we seen the design of that lock before?
of 14: It's an eye of Horus, also called a wedjat eye, and you've seen it everywhere, but you may also have seen a pen drawing of it. Have you explored the antiquities tent thoroughly?
of 14: The S.P.I.E.D. flyer (on the far end of the left table) has a wedjat eye and a # on the front. Open the flyer, paying particular attention to numbers.
of 14: Four numbers are highlighted: 16, 8, 4, and 32. Where else did you see those numbers in connection with a wedjat eye?
of 14: Pull out the "Relic" book from your inventory and flip to page 46, where there's a green box all about the wedjat eye and the numbers associated with each piece of it. Aha!
of 14: What you need to do is press the parts of the Eye in the order given in the flyer. So the first number is 16, and 1/16 represents the right part of the white of the eye. But wait a minute!
of 14: Did you notice that the eye in the book is facing the other way from the eye on Jamila's purse?
of 14: So 16 really represents the LEFT part of the white of the eye. The rest of the numbers are the same as in the book.
of 14: To open Jamila's purse, press the parts in this order:
of 14: Left part of the white of the eye (16); eyebrow (8); pupil (4); curly line under the eye (32).
of 14: Look at everything you can in Jamila's bag, and don't forget to take the piece of paper on the left.
