Nancy Drew 27: The Deadly Device Hints
How do I get this video out safely?
of 8: After you watch the video, push the download button (downward arrow with a line under it) to copy it to the blue thumb drive in the machine. Take it out, and --
of 8: -- discover that paranoid Niko had another security measure in place. Hmm.
of 8: There's no way to avoid that glowing door; just walk through it and see what happens.
of 8: Blast! What happened is that all your electronics got fried, including your cell phone. Now what?
of 8: Talk to Ryan; she'll tell you to make a small Faraday cage to protect the USB drive from the doorway glow. If you read all of the Tesla Coil book, you'll find out more about this; it's the blue book in your inventory if you care to read it now.
of 8: And if you don't, I'll tell you that in this case, you're going to be assembling a cardboard box covered with foil, with a paper clip and a binder clip to form the ground wire.
of 8: You also need a new USB drive, since the blue one has been destroyed. There's one in the workshop, in a box labeled "Spare USB Drives" on a shelf above where you reassembled the cat (on the left as you face Ryan).
of 8: So take the little rocket drive back to Niko's study, insert it in the drive, and press the download button again. Remove the drive, and Nancy will put it in the Faraday box for you. Yay!
