The Mystery of the Nautilus Hints

I've diverted the laser, but the robot is still downstairs.

  • 1 of 13: It looks like you're going to need to coerce the robot to come upstairs.
  • 2 of 13: Which is something he'll be more than happy to do, if only to destroy you.
  • 3 of 13: First, make sure you have been downstairs and looked at the robot in the Technical Room.
  • 4 of 13: You'll have a limited amount of time to leave the Technical Room and get back up the stairs.
  • 5 of 13: The robot should now be waiting at the bottom of the stairs.
  • 6 of 13: The robot won't be able to climb up the stairs...
  • 7 of 13: ...just like you couldn't when you were at the bottom.
  • 8 of 13: You'll need to help the robot work the elevator.
  • 9 of 13: Notice the red and green buttons on the wall near the top of the stairs.
  • 10 of 13: Press the green button to send the elevator down.  The robot will climb on.
  • 11 of 13: Press the red button to bring the robot up.  He will then attempt to kill you.
  • 12 of 13: It appears that you'll need to turn on the laser just as the robot appears.
  • 13 of 13: If everything is in place, send the elevator downstairs by pressing the green button.  When the robot gets on, bring the elevator back up by pressing the red button.  Immediately pull the rope to activate the laser (the rope is hanging out of an air vent just above the elevator buttons).
