Nancy Drew 11: Curse of Blackmoor Manor Hints

How do I make cakes for Loulou?

  • 1 of 7: Talk to Mrs. Drake about Loulou before you try to feed her.
  • 2 of 7: Parrots have specific dietary needs. Do a little web research on your cell phone for more info.
  • 3 of 7: Man, that's complicated! But it's not as complicated as it looks.
  • 4 of 7: Don't worry about the percentages; just remember what's forbidden. No avocado, chocolate, or lunch meat! Everything else by the microwave is fine. (In the DVD version, there are only good things, so add whatever you like.)
  • 5 of 7: To make a cake, click on the little pan, then pick up the foods you want to add to it. Use any combination you want of crackers, nuts, beans, salsa, lettuce, blueberries, and mealworms. (And by the way, these really are all things parrots eat. Mine also loved bananas, cottage cheese, hot tea with milk, and Cheerios.)
  • 6 of 7: When you're done, click on the microwave and turn it on. Take the thing out and go talk to Loulou. If she asked for a cake the last time you talked to her, Nancy will now offer her the cake.
  • 7 of 7: If Loulou says "Deeeelicious!" you did good. If she falls off her perch, well ... pack your bags, kiddo.
