Nancy Drew: The White Wolf of Icicle Creek Hints
How do I go ice fishing?
of 10: The ice fishing spot is at Icicle Lake. You can go any time you want, but there's no point until someone asks you to.
of 10: The day after you clean off the skating pond, Bill will ask you to see if you can catch a two-foot Northern Pike. Before you go, take a moment to look at the entry on the computer at the lodge about the different kinds of fish; the Northern Pike is long, thin, and speckled. Now you can make the hike out to the ice fishing shack on Icicle Lake and --
of 10: -- well, pick up the pieces. What a mess! What do we do now?
of 10: The first thing you need to do is look for clues as to who did this. Look around the wreckage for anything with personal info on it.
of 10: There's a piece of paper just to the right of the hole in the ice that you can pick up. Grab it and scoot back to the lodge to call the number, then tell both Bill and Ollie what happened and see what they say.
of 10: After Ollie gives you his fishing tackle, come back to Icicle Lake and try your hand at fishing. To start, click on the hole in the ice.
of 10: The line moves to the spot where you click, or actually just above the spot where you click. To catch a specific fish, move the line down so the fish's mouth will run into the hook, and Nancy will draw it out automatically.
of 10: Catching hats, boots, coffee cans, and other trash won't do you any harm, but they're a waste of time, as are all the non-Northern Pike fish down there. Avoid logs and sturgeons, because they'll break your line if they run across it. Mines (spiky balls) will blow you and the shack to pieces, which is amusing but not useful.
of 10: There are lots of Northern Pikes down there, but you can't tell what size they are till you pull one up. When you finally get one the right size, SAVE YOUR GAME and leave the hut.
