Nancy Drew: Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake Hints
Where can the four plants or animals be found in the doggie clock?
1 of 7: To find the four plants or animals from the poem somewhere in the doggie clock, you're going to want to experiment with the four dog figures in the cabinet.
2 of 7: Pay close attention to the scenery behind the doggies in the doggie clock as you experiment with the figures.
3 of 7: In particular, pay close attention to two things: which dog figure in the cabinet appears to affect which doggie in the clock, and which direction a dog figure in the cabinet faces appears to affect which type of scenery in the clock.
4 of 7: You may have noticed that the first dog on the far left of the shelf (Vitus) affects the first scenery on the far left of the doggie clock, the second dog on the shelf (Iggy) affects the second scenery of the doggie clock, the third dog on the shelf (Lucy) affects the third scenery of the doggie clock, and the fourth dog on the shelf (Xander) affects the fourth scenery of the doggie clock.
5 of 7: You may have also noticed that the four directions any specific dog figure in the cabinet faces (left, right, back, or front) is directly associated with the four different types of scenery (birds, leaves, deer, swans) behind a corresponding doggie in the doggie clock.
6 of 7: And the four different types of scenery are the four plants or animals from the poem. You should now be able to associate each of the four directions a dog figure can face to the four plants or animals from the poem.
7 of 7: The four plants or animals from the poem are found in the doggie clock when you face any of the dog figures in the cabinet the following directions: A dog facing left = birds A dog facing right = leaves A dog facing back = swans A dog facing front = deer
