Nine: The Last Resort Hints

Bottom Part

  • 1 of 7: Now look at the depiction of the two totems at the bottom of the page.
  • 2 of 7: One has a notation box circled (the notation box will always be at the bottom of a totem) with its corresponding three "moves" shown next to it using arrows (ex: 6 back arrows, 4 back arrows, 7 forward arrows).
  • 3 of 7: The second totem has an arrow pointing from an alphabet letter to the middle position of the totem.  This middle space will always contain either a letter, or its corresponding music symbol.
  • 4 of 7: You HAVE solved the Wheel of Fortune, right?
  • 5 of 7: You will need to have correctly aligned the Wheel of Fortune to decipher this part of the page.
  • 6 of 7: To the right of this totem, you will see a typical music combination: a letter (or symbol) on top, with a shaded notation box underneath, and a definition for what the entire totem means (ex: if the alphabet letter = T, and the notation box is diagonally shaded upper-left, then T (-6) L (-4) H (+7) P.
  • 7 of 7: The musical end result will always be four notes: the letter (or symbol) depicted on top PLUS three more letters or symbols which are described by the 3 "moves" directed by the notation box on the bottom.
