Nine: The Last Resort Hints

I can't go down the pole.

  • 1 of 8: There is a firepole next to Mr. Bones that you will be able to "look down" at, but not use.
  • 2 of 8: Mr. Bones will say something to the effect that the pole is not a viable exit right now.
  • 3 of 8: You must complete a different part of the game first before the pole will be enabled for you.
  • 4 of 8: Specifically, there is a room in the house that has the "other end" of the fire pole located in it.  You must find and use this other end first in order to fully enable the fire pole.
  • 5 of 8: It is in a room on the second floor.
  • 6 of 8: Have you been into the Sliding Door room yet?
  • 7 of 8: You will not be able to use the fire pole in the Chasm until you have visited the room with the Sliding Door on the second floor and completed a task there first.
  • 8 of 8: The other end of the fire pole is located inside the Tool Shed in the Sliding Door room.
