How do I get across the moving sidewalk?

  • 1 of 25: Salty gives you a clue when you first try to cross it.
  • 2 of 25: He says, "Swimming upstream only works for salmon.  Are you a salmon?"
  • 3 of 25: Ha ha.
  • 4 of 25: He means that you will not be able to cross the moving sidewalk while it is moving in a direction towards you.
  • 5 of 25: You must find a way to stop the movement of the sidewalk toward you before you can cross it.
  • 6 of 25: You could look for a switch that controls the sidewalk...
  • 7 of 25: But there isn't one.
  • 8 of 25: You'll have to get to the heart of this problem.
  • 9 of 25: Look around for the mechanism that is driving the conveyor belt of the sidewalk.
  • 10 of 25: You could try to jam up the gears, or somehow stop them from turning to make the sidewalk stop.
  • 11 of 25: Try moving some of the gears by clicking, holding and dragging.
  • 12 of 25: When you separate the gears, the sidewalk stops!
  • 13 of 25: But as soon as you let go, the gears snap back into place and the sidewalk starts back up again.
  • 14 of 25: You need to find something that will permanently interfere or disable the movement of the gears.
  • 15 of 25: Have you gone past the Tiki gods yet?
  • 16 of 25: You will have to get past the Tiki gods to find what you need to solve the moving sidewalk puzzle.
  • 17 of 25: Once you go through the Tiki room, start looking for something that could interfere with the gears.
  • 18 of 25: Have you found the jukebox yet?
  • 19 of 25: It is in the Hallway beyond the Tiki room.
  • 20 of 25: Examine the mechanisms at work inside the window panel of the jukebox.
  • 21 of 25: See anything familiar in there?
  • 22 of 25: There is a gear in the jukebox!
  • 23 of 25: But it appears to be driving the jukebox turntable mechanism.
  • 24 of 25: You will have to operate the jukebox correctly in order to gain access to the gear.
  • 25 of 25: Once you obtain the gear, you must figure out how to use it.
