Nine: The Last Resort Hints
The Tiki gods won't let me pass!
of 15: When you first approach them, the Tiki gods will bar the door, shake their heads and say "no no no!"
of 15: You will not be able to sneak past them.
of 15: And this is the only entrance to the room beyond that you can access right now.
of 15: You must somehow convince the Tiki gods to allow you to enter the room.
of 15: Maybe they are just grumpy.
of 15: If you cheered them up, perhaps they would let you by.
of 15: Music is a good way to cheer someone up.
of 15: Have you checked out the organ at the far end of the Lobby yet?
of 15: Do NOT touch any of the yellow buttons. (Ignore the arrow that points to one of them -- it is only indicating that NONE of them are pushed. Welcome to the first of many red herrings in Nine!)
of 15: When you have played the music notes correctly, you will hear a jungle drum riff play.
of 15: The Tiki guards will now laugh and let you pass.
of 15: Note: Each New Game you start will potentially have a different set of notes identified on the keyboard -- make sure you check the organ sheet music for each new game.
of 15: Also, be sure to press down each note long enough to be clearly heard, and do not wait too long BETWEEN notes as you are playing them. If you do not hear a jungle drum riff play after you finish the sequence of eight notes, play the music note sequence again until you do (or the Tiki gods will continue to bar the door).
