Nine: The Last Resort Hints
How do I start the boiler?
1 of 11: First, you should understand that the goal is to generate steam, which will, in turn, power many of the machines and devices in the Last Resort.
2 of 11: When you first approach the boiler, you will see a button, a lever, and a valve wheel, along with a gauge that reads "E(mpty) ----- F(ull)."
3 of 11: Try manipulating some of these controls.
4 of 11: Salty will zoom in and give you a hint about the boiler.
5 of 11: He says, "In what universe do you find a boiler that runs on no fuel?"
6 of 11: You will need to find some fuel before you can get the boiler working.
