How can I open the door to the room with the sanctum portal?

2 of 5: You didn't really think there'd be such an easy shortcut to the Maker's Sanctum, did you?
3 of 5: Once you make it to the Maker's Sanctum the hard way, you can take a shortcut back by using a portal there.
4 of 5: Then you can open the portal room's door by hitting a lever near it.
