Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark Hints
How can I get in to see the Sleeping Man?
of 10: Visit the temple and talk to Sensei Dharvana about it.
of 10: She wants you to first learn the five-fold mysteries of the Sleeping Man and recite them to her.
of 10: Ask her about the Sleeping Man to get her to start you off by telling you that the first-fold mystery is that the Sleeping Man is a planetar from another realm.
of 10: Reading the large open tome in the center of the temple's library when the sensei isn't looking will reveal the fourth-fold mystery, which is that the Sleeping Man was seeking the Knower of Places. (You can also learn this from Arden Swift in the tavern.)
of 10: As for the second, third, and fifth ones, ask around town.
of 10: The various demonic quarry workers know that the Sleeping Man comes from the realm called Elysium.
of 10: The worried spirits and the disgruntled pilgrims know that the third-fold mystery is that the heart of the Sleeping Man knew no love.
of 10: Aribeth knows that the fifth-fold mystery is: "She will find you by the Gates of Cania." Just talk to her about the five-fold mysteries once you rescue her from her ice cave. (The Reaper also knows this one, so you could return to his realm and ask him instead.)
of 10: Once you know them all, go recite them to Dharvana to get her amulet, which will allow you to go through the east door in the temple library and visit the Sleeping Man in his chamber.
of 10: NOTE: If you don't want to go through all of that, or just don't like Dharvana's looks, you can simply kill her and take her amulet.
