Neverwinter Nights: Kingmaker Hints
Kobolds and Chickens and Cows, Oh My!
1 of 10: On this slightly silly quest, you'll be going into the Kobold Caves in the Emerald Hills to rescue some captured cows. Either have Alias take you there, or go there on foot and find the cave entrance near the south-center portion of the map.
2 of 10: Use the key that The Stan gave you to open the locked gates leading to the cave entrance, then go on in.
3 of 10: NOTE: See the Alias Notes if you have trouble with your character suddenly running off to the north for no apparent reason while trying to approach the cave.
4 of 10: When you first enter the cave, you'll see a friendly kobold ahead of you named Snival.
5 of 10: Move along until you reach the cave's one and only path split.
6 of 10: Taking the east path just leads to the kobold chief's area, which has a treasure chest with a journal and a psionic gem in it. (Read the journal to learn how the kobolds got interested in honey.)
7 of 10: Go north at the path split to find a room full of chickens.
8 of 10: In the room west of the chicken room are the cows that you're supposed to rescue.
9 of 10: Cows are counted as rescued the moment they enter the large room with the exit to the Emerald Hills.
10 of 10: Be sure that all four cows have been rescued (you'll get a journal update and 500 XP when they are) before you leave the cave and go report back to The Stan to get your reward.
