1 of 4: Thaddeus Squilt, the current guildmaster, can be found in the Tarnished Tankard in South Cyan.
2 of 4: While you're talking to him about the election, some guy named Typhus Sigerlin will show up and start threatening Squilt.
3 of 4: Squilt will then offer you 100 gold to floor this character.
4 of 4: There are two ways you can finish the quest from this point on: the lawful good way and the chaotic evil way.
