How can I find and deal with the man behind Xanthar's assassination attempt?
1 of 6: After talking to your father in the Imperial Grand Hall about his upcoming mysterious meeting on your family estate, exit back to the Imperial District.
2 of 6: Find Markius Albright at the gates that connect the two halves of the district and talk to him.
3 of 6: He'll say that recent evidence points to Mikel Ravenclaw of Ravenclaw Tavern being the guy behind Xanthar's attempt to kill you.
4 of 6: After Albright joins you again, head over to the tavern and find the entrance to Mikel Ravenclaw's chamber (it's marked on the area map).
5 of 6: The door is locked and unopenable, so you'll have to deal with the Ravenclaw Guard.
6 of 6: Talk to him to get a wide variety of options, some of which get you in peacefully, and some of which don't.
