Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undrentide Hints
How can I help William Rey save his girlfriend?
of 11: Talk to Rey to learn that Jendra has been taken to the nearby unholy temple to be sacrificed.
of 11: Rush to the temple to save the lass, but don't neglect to get the superb light armor called Greenleaf from a pile of bones on the way.
of 11: The first room you enter in the temple has a couple of unholy priestesses and some items to steal. No big deal.
of 11: But the temple's main room has lots more priestesses plus a powerful devil that they've used Jendra's lifeforce to conjure up. It's too late to save Jendra (this time), but do kill the devil and all the priestesses anyway. (You might want to retreat back to the starting room and draw them after you a few at a time.)
of 11: Search the corpse of the Grand Matron to find a random magic sword and a pen. Also search the three rune pillars for treasure (but note that the middle one is trapped).
of 11: In order to save Jendra, you're going to have to rewrite the ending to this book.
of 11: You've already gotten the pen you need for this task from the Grand Matron. Now you need to get yourself some magic ink.
of 11: You can get that from Karsus the Archwizard once you find him in his prison and talk to him.
of 11: When you get back to the Great Library with the pen and inkwell, click on "The Beggar's Love" again, and you'll have a chance to rewrite the ending.
of 11: Do so and then read the story again to find that "Sir" William Rey has single-handedly killed off all the evil priestesses and saved Jendra.
of 11: NOTE: You can talk to Rey and say you're still after the Wise Wind to get him to pledge his support.
