How can I get past the door that the tavern's chef is guarding?
1 of 7: Have you found the door? If not, open the door in the back of the main tavern area to find two doors past it. The unguarded one leads upstairs, and the one guarded by the chef leads to the basement.
2 of 7: However, it's locked, and the chef will call the guards if you don't give him the password before opening the door.
3 of 7: You can get the password by quizzing Ulfnog, the dwarf in the sauna upstairs.
4 of 7: Or you can try to persuade the chef to forget about the whole thing, bribe him with gold, or just let him go call the guards (if he does, you can quickly run down into the basement to dodge them).
5 of 7: As for unlocking the door, you need a tavern key for that.
6 of 7: If you entered the tavern via the side door, you already have the key you need, so use it now.
7 of 7: If not, then you'll have to go to the locked house east of the tavern to get that key, or get a duplicate key from Christov in the main tavern area.
