How do I track down Vengaul and get the cure reagent that he has?

  • 1 of 10: The first step in this long process is to get inside the Seedy Tavern.
  • 2 of 10: The second is to get through the tavern's chef-guarded door and into the basement, where the Bloodsailors have their main hideout.
  • 3 of 10: Then get one or both of the two useful items in Dara'nei's room.
  • 4 of 10: Once you have Dara'nei's locket and the sheet of instructions from Callik, you have two choices as to how to pursue Vengaul to his private hidey-hole in the sewers.
  • 5 of 10: As Dara'nei said, you can either enter the Aqueduct or use her locket on a locked door in the Silver Sails building.
  • 6 of 10: Once you reach the sewers area where Vengaul and Callik are yelling at each other, Callik and his two guards will soon turn hostile. You'd better be ready for a very tough fight.
  • 7 of 10: After they're dead, be sure to raid Callik's body to get an amulet that's needed for another quest, then make your way around to where Vengaul is.
  • 8 of 10: If you talk as politely to him as you can, he and his guards will leave without attacking you.
  • 9 of 10: NOTE: If you want to fight Vengaul and his two guards for XP, then be sure to attack Vengaul before he talks to you. If you wait, he'll run off and get away.
  • 10 of 10: Before you leave, raid the nearby glowing crate to get the essential cockatrice feather.
