The Simpleton's Mother

  • 1 of 7: After getting into the archaeologist barracks, talk to Revat to get this quest.
  • 2 of 7: His mother was taken by trolls, and it's up to you to go find her.
  • 3 of 7: There are many levels to the local troll caves, but she's on one that's nearby.
  • 4 of 7: Enter the cave that's NE of the barracks to get into the troll cave storage area.
  • 5 of 7: Janis is at the west end of the large SE room, so go there and talk to her.
  • 6 of 7: Hand over the ring that Revat gave you to free her.
  • 7 of 7: Then return to the barracks and talk to Revat to complete the quest.
