Neverwinter Nights Hints

Nine Lives

  • 1 of 12: Talk to Londa in the Cutlass Inn to get this quest.
  • 2 of 12: It seems that rat Baram stole all nine of her kids.
  • 3 of 12: So go talk to him about it.
  • 4 of 12: He'll promise to release the brats when you bring him High Captain Kurth's head.
  • 5 of 12: However, if you do that, Baram will confess that he converted the older kids into wererats and ate the younger ones!
  • 6 of 12: You can try lying to Londa or telling her the truth, but neither will work unless you have one of the kids' teddy bears, which can only be gotten by raiding Baram's base.
  • 7 of 12: Find the spider-infested corridor that's just west of the big mummy-summoning room in the area called "Baram's Lair."
  • 8 of 12: Click on one of the cocoons at the south end of that corridor to release the children's nanny.
  • 9 of 12: Talk to her to learn that all the children were either turned into wererats or eaten by them.
  • 10 of 12: She'll give you one of the children's teddy bears to use as proof to Londa.
  • 11 of 12: So return to Londa sometime and either lie to her or tell her the truth about her children's fate; either way, the teddy will convince her, and she'll give you the key to her husband's secret treasure room in the sewers.
  • 12 of 12: Go to the main sewer area and open the locked door in the SW corner to find several treasure chests, including two with "boss" treasure.
