Docks: Trouble in the District

  • 1 of 14: Talk to Halion near the Hall of Justice about the Docks District to get this quest.
  • 2 of 14: If you talk to the gate guard just inside the Docks District, he won't help much.
  • 3 of 14: But some of the local rabble will.
  • 4 of 14: Kill and loot several thugs, and you should soon find at least one auction announcement.
  • 5 of 14: Read it to learn that a supposed cure for the Wailing Death plague is to be auctioned off at the Seedy Tavern.
  • 6 of 14: You want to attend that auction!
  • 7 of 14: The Seedy Tavern is in the north central part of the area.
  • 8 of 14: Once you're inside, ask around about the auction and Vengaul, the Bloodsailor leader.
  • 9 of 14: You'll learn that the tavern's basement is where you need to be, so get going down there.
  • 10 of 14: Unfortunately, the door that leads to the basement is guarded.
  • 11 of 14: You'll discover that the basement is the main Bloodsailor hideout, full of Bloodsailors.
  • 12 of 14: All the information and items that you'll need in order to track down Vengaul are in the hideout in a certain room.
  • 13 of 14: Once you've talked to Dara'nei and gotten her locket (and/or the instructions from Callik), you're ready to track down Vengaul Bloodsail and get his part of the Wailing Death cure.
  • 14 of 14: Follow Vengaul out to end up back in the outdoor Docks area, then get back to Aribeth with the feather ASAP.
