Where can I get a volatile spirit essence?
1 of 7: From one of the animal spirits that are wandering about the woods.
2 of 7: Have everyone else in your party stand their ground, then go find the nearest animal spirit.
3 of 7: Quicksave when you find one, then use your Provoke Spirits feat on yourself in order to make it hostile.
4 of 7: Attack it until it's near death, then use your Devour Spirit feat on it to kill it.
5 of 7: That'll give you some spirit energy, plus put a volatile spirit essence into your inventory.
6 of 7: If you accidentally kill the spirit before devouring it, or if you try to devour it too soon, restore your quicksave and try again.
7 of 7: NOTE: If you've used your Suppress feat recently and therefore can't use Devour Spirit now, travel to another region (like the Mulsantir gate area) and then back in order to get some days to pass so you can use Devour Spirit again.
