Burning Hatred

  • 1 of 5: You'll get this quest while working on the "Ancient Knowledge" quest.
  • 2 of 5: Enter the Burning Grove via a special transition point that's along the south edge of the Ashenwood area, near the SW corner.
  • 3 of 5: Go to the fiery spot in the center of the grove and click on the little "Shape of Fire" critter there.
  • 4 of 5: During the conversation, you'll need to commit to either helping him burn down the rest of the trees in the grove, or putting a stop to his burnings.
  • 5 of 5: Either way, you should get the Shape of Fire essence, which can be used to enchant an armor or weapon item. (You can also use it in the "Re-Exile" quest, but that would be a waste of a unique essence.)
